A Fantastic Father
FOREVER...
All of us are here because of our parents. Because of our parents who supported and cared for us. We are here for the unconditional love given by our mother and limitless affection of our one and only father.
So what makes you love your father? Is it because of his numerous gifts, or because of all the favors he had given you? Do you love your father because he is the one who supply your needs, or maybe because of the everyday “pasalubong” he had given you? If your reason of loving him is one of the reasons listed above, then you don’t love your father. In that case you just want the things he had given you not your father himself. If you would ask me why I love my father, I love my father not because of the things he had given but because of what he is. I love him because of he is himself. He is that loving father who gives his time even though he will be late in his work just to look after us. He is that father who doesn’t care if he has nothing left just to give us, his children. He is that father who would sacrifice his time for his rest, just to help us on whatever is our problem, whether easy or hard problems, he would find a solution for it. He is the father who will support us on whatever we wanted to do. On whatever competition, I would contend, he is there to cheer and ease my worries. He molded us to be good individuals. When we are depressed and do not know what to do, he and my mother are the walls that we could lean on. Sometimes when we did something that is not in his favor, he would scold us just to teach us what is right but later on everything will all become normal again as if nothing happened. I remember one time in one competition I contend on, he was there to support me. He became my coach in that competition. But one problem aroused, in the day of the competition itself, my disc did not work so I have to sing without music accompaniment. I was only 7 in that time and I cried. My father is the one who cheered me up. He was just about to go back and get our player in our house and go in to rescue, but then my disc played. So in that time, I performed the best that I could do. Although I only placed third, I still enjoyed it and my father and I went home happily.      All of that makes my father of what he is. For me all of the things he did for us are just enough and I could not wish for more. He is our one and only father, our fantastic father forever. Happy Fathers’ day Papa and to all fathers all around the world, happy fathers’ day too!
